1. My headset is not working; may I just use chat?
No. You must have a microphone and must be able to speak and be heard to attend this course. This can be a headset or onboard speakers and microphone. Headsets are preferred, as they are generally cause less feedback and echo in the classroom.
If your class is in Blackboard Collaborate Ultra, you may use the call-in function inside the classroom. This is located in the Session Menu within the classroom, under the three-line menu in upper left-hand corner.
If you class is in Adobe Connect, you may only use the mobile application while troubleshooting other options.
If you continue to have technology issues, please reach out to your course Technologist for assistance.
2. I am having connectivity issues or frequent drops; what can I do?
You may disconnect from the VPN to access your course. If you continue to have technology issues, please reach out to your course Technologist for assistance.
