- May I use my phone to attend an Adobe Connect course?
- Do I need to download Adobe Connect to attend a course?
1. May I use my phone to attend an Adobe Connect course?
Adobe Connect does not have a dial-in option. Instead, there is a mobile application. The mobile application is only allowed as a temporary solution (i.e.: while troubleshooting other devices, brief power loss, or loss of internet connectivity).
You may also call, text, or send a chat to the technologist who will offer you help.
2. Do I need to download Adobe Connect to attend a course?
Most of our courses in Adobe Connect may be accessed via a web browser. The exceptions to this are courses where students must screen share to complete activities (such as Life Cycle Cost Estimating). The Google Chrome browser is best for this platform. If your course is in Adobe Connect, you may also download the software. If you have issues downloading the software, you may make a request through the yourIT service.
